Bickham, George, London. 1st edition. 1748. Disbound sheets. 4 leaves, engraved one side. Pages 53-59. Approx. size, 31.5x18.5 cms, (12.5"x 7.25"). Description of the county. The first page is headed by an engraving of the Arms of the City of Salisbury, with cherubic supporters. The final of the 4 pages is taken up largely with a set of engravings of copies of representations of Roman Gods, etc. Clean, and browned very slightly at extreme edges of margins. Pages can easily be trimmed. Of interest to the historian, calligrapher or collector, and may be framed for display, since only printed on one side of the leaf. VG. (NB, this is NOT the "Birds Eye" map). We specialise in Atlases, Maps and Cartography
