Top edges gilt, in scarce original dustwrapper. In very good condition with very good dustwrapper (DW spine slightly faded with darker patch to middle. Minor rubbing to edges, in protective sleeve.) Small bump to bottom edge of front board. Endpapers slightly darkened, else inside pages very clean and tight throughout. An excellent copy, with scarce dustwrapper. 650 pp. Illustrated with a Frontis portrait of the author in Persian dress, and large folding map at rear.
