Gilt titles spine with 5 raised bands & 5 gilt decorated panels & also, on the front & rear pebbled covers, extensive gilt decorated borders & centre-pieces.. At some time in the past this book has been stored in damp conditions resulting in damp marks to many of the pages although this is mainly confined to the borders not affecting text or plates other than a few,(frontis & title page.)
