Extensive Familty history with diversions into Jacobite history focusing on Culloden, publications of James Grant and etc. Privately printed first edition of 1895. Corrimony is in Glenurquhart betwixt Cannich and Drumnadrochit , Inverness-shire, Scottish Highlands; presentation copy from author to Calvert J Grant (b.1862 p.35). Additional material in the form of a coloured bookplate tipped in on front pastedown and additional plates - Old Corrimony House (as frontis with offsetting to tp), the Grey Cairn Corrimony, portrait of James Grant 1743-1835, and two others untitled - but otherwise with typewritten or manuscript labelling . Condition - tight and clean internally though boards lightly soiled; spine titling label slighly chipped; some toning particularly p.34-35 where an additional page has been added with the bookplate of the author with considerable toning.
