The Culmstock Parish Magazine March 1878 Vol. I No. 3 (East Devon)
Exeter, William Pollard. 1878, 1st Edition (as such). Sewn Pamphlet, 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Culmstock is a picturesque parish village in east Devon, about 5 miles from Tiverton and 7 or so miles NE of Cullompton. It is laid out on both sides of the River Culm; the village is joined by a single old narrow stone bridge across the river- (Wikipedia). This 24p booklet contains a chapter of a serialised novel (Annie Pedreath), and articles on "The Whirlpools of Niagra" "Some Archbishops of Canterbury" but little local information, though a few baptisms and burials are recorded. Paper well toned/browned and edges chipped - (mostly blind) see scans. Very rare. Good.
