Included with the book are two souvenir samples of ribbon made by Berisfords for their 100th anniversary in 1958, one being a 'ribbon compliment slip' woven in three colours. These are tipped-in to the contents page and to page 77. There is also a preprinted Compliments slip 'signed' by Managing Director John Sebire. Very Good (+).

The first page is headed by an engraving of the the Arms of the City of Cheste, supported by classical figures on each side. Clean, and browned very slightly at extreme edges of margins. Pages can easily be trimmed. Of interest to the historian, calligrapher or collector, and may be framed for display, since only printed on one side of the leaf. VG.
