England pictorial and descriptive.
London: James B Knapp, nd [c. 1890]. No edition stated. 8vo, 144pp. Frontispiece, many text engravings. Original decorated red cloth, gilt titling to front board and spine. Edges of spine frayed, boards rubbed and marked, inscription to front free endpaper (dated 1900), hinges cracked. Only a fair to good copy overall. This is a rather odd book - there is no copy listed in the British Library Public Catalogue, and the preface calims it to be the 8th volume in a series of illustrated books descriptive of home and foreign travel. The whole series seems to be elusive - I have only been able to turn up copies of London and America, and I have no idea what the other 5 volumes cover.
